The CFL offers 2 second-level-discipline Doctor Degree programs (English Language and Literature and Japanese Language and Literature), 3 second-level-discipline Master Degree programs (English Language and Literature and Japanese Language and Literature, and Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics) and 2 professional degree programs for Master of Disciplinary Education (the English Language) and Mater of Translation and Interpreting, which has made great progress in the comparative study of bilingual or multilingual languages, literature, cultures and foreign language teaching research between English, Japanese, Russian, Chinese and Korean.
